Constructed by China Geo-engineering Corporation, a subsidiary of the CECEP, the Sino-Gabonese Friendship Hospital covers an area of 24,000 square meters, including 7,622 square meters of floor space. The complex consists of six separate projects, namely outpatient building, medical technology building, ward building, comprehensive building, power distribution facility for the auxiliary building and an outdoor project. With a two-story reinforced concrete frame structure, the main buildings can withstand an earthquake of magnitude 8. Connected by corridors, they resemble a Chinese-style courtyard.
