On September 26, CECEP won five major awards at the national finals of the 2025 China Lean Digital Innovation Competition, organized by the China Enterprise Reform and Development Society. The case Smart Digital Integrated Solution Empowering Green Development, submitted by CECEP Solar Zhenjiang Company, won second prize in the Digitalization category of the Management Special Track. The case Lean Improvement in Carbon Source Control to Reduce Consumption and Achieve Efficient, Low-Carbon Operation of Wastewater Plants, submitted by Hunan Guozhen under CECEP Guozhen, received third prize in Group B of the Team Improvement Track. Another CECEP Guozhen project, Lean Management for Pollution and Carbon Reduction, submitted by Wuhu Guozhen, also won third prize in Group A of the Process Manufacturing Track. In addition, CNEPG Xianning Company earned third prize in Group B of the Team Improvement Track for its case Operation Optimization to Reduce Self-Consumption and Enhance Efficiency in Waste-to-Energy Generation. The Group also received the Best Competition Organization Award for its outstanding organizational performance.?

The award-winning projects span multiple sectors, including water services, solid waste management and clean energy. They reflect CECEP’s solid achievements in integrating lean management with digital and intelligent technologies to achieve the goals of cost reduction, efficiency enhancement and green transformation.
