In a bid to ignite scientific curiosity, enhance inquiry skills and foster innovation among youth, Yunding Mountain Wind Farm – operated by CECEP Wind-power – partnered with Muma Middle School of Jiange County for an immersive educational event titled "Exploring Clean Energy at Yunding Mountain" on March 24. Nearly 400 students and teachers ventured into the facility to witness wind energy innovation firsthand, experiencing the synergy between technological advancement and sustainable development.

During the science literacy session, instructors demonstrated the energy conversion process from wind to mechanical power and ultimately electricity through dynamic models. They detailed how 35kV collector lines channel energy via 220kV booster stations into the national grid’s smart dispatch system. Personifying the technology, presenters likened turbines to 110-meter Green Energy Giants – each rotation at 8.72 revolutions per second generates 9.55 kWh of clean electricity. Ten exceptional Young Pioneers received exclusive access to control rooms and operational hubs, studying wind power mechanics, remote monitoring systems and CECEP renewable energy milestones.

This hands-on initiative not only revealed the marvels of wind technology to young minds but planted seeds of environmental stewardship. Moving forward, Sichuan Company’s Party committee plans to expand eco-conscious education through diverse outreach programs, promoting low-carbon lifestyles and wind energy’s role in achieving carbon neutrality goals. By nurturing youth engagement with green initiatives, the campaign aims to strengthen ecological preservation values while elevating CECEP Wind-power’s industry leadership and social impact.
