On August 27, CGC signed a cooperation agreement with the Philippine Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) for the SP2-CP1 section of the Palimbang–Balabagan Road project.?

The project is a key component of the Road Network Development Program in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region on Mindanao. It involves the construction of a new two-lane, two-way concrete road, along with four overpasses and supporting infrastructure such as culverts, side ditches and drainage facilities.

Once completed, the project will further improve the regional transportation network in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region, significantly enhancing road capacity and safety. It will also provide strong support for local economic growth and improve the livelihoods of communities along the route.
